Bio
Laura Rodgers is Director of Cybersecurity Practice in the Secure Computing Institute at North Carolina State University, where she builds partnerships with industry and government to advance cybersecurity research, innovation, compliance, and workforce development. She also directs the North Carolina Partnership for Cybersecurity Excellence (NC-PaCE), a statewide coalition working to strengthen North Carolina’s cybersecurity ecosystem, and is the instructor for undergraduate and graduate cybersecurity capstone courses.
Earlier in her career, she held business operations and governance, risk, and compliance roles supporting major defense programs at Lockheed Martin and General Dynamics Information Technology.
She serves on cybersecurity advisory boards at UNC Wilmington and UNC Pembroke, is a member of the North Carolina IT Strategy Board Cybersecurity Subcommittee, and is a member of the Global NC Board of Directors and the Higher Education Cybersecurity Council.
